A hero’s job is never done on The Tick! The first season wrapped up just over a year ago, but now Amazon Prime has announced a release date for The Tick season 2. In the accompanying trailer, the Tick and Arthur find themselves on the same page. Arthur is ready to embrace “the hero’s way.” Unfortunately for Arthur, he and the Tick aren’t the only game in town anymore.
The trailer sets up a new wave of bizarre heroes who are moving into the city, while A.E.G.I.S. takes a more active hand in controlling the new era. Even Dot and Overkill have to carve out their own place within that landscape. Additionally, Miss Lint is stepping up to be the new big bad, now that the Terror has been dethroned.

Here’s the official description from Amazon: ‘Tick and Arthur have freed the City from The Terror — now they must defend it from new villains and old enemies. That is if they can convince AEGIS, the government agency in charge of superhero regulation, that they deserve the job. But now that the City is ‘safe enough to protect’ Tick and Arthur begin to see they’ve got competition…”
