Avengers, Allies, and Enemies Get Venom-ized in New Funko Pops

Movie theaters may be screening the Avengers: Endgame, but when it comes to merchandising, the games have only just begun. And to paraphrase Eminem, Venom gonna go get ’em. The Klyntar symbiote, most recently seen onscreen making frenemies for life with Tom Hardy, has possessed different heroes and villains across multiple realities. The Venomverse comics event saw a Venomized Doctor Strange bringing them all together to fight the alien race called Poisons. Now, the best of them will hit stores as Venomized Funko Pops. Via Entertainment Earth, here’s a good look at them.

Thanos’ obsession with halving things makes him a natural target for a 50% personality change. Meanwhile, Daredevil looks like an actual demon, albeit a cute one. Or maybe one of the Iszs from The Maxx, if it died and descended into hell.

What do you get when you cross “We are Venom” with “I am Groot”? What does this hybrid thing say? We don’t know, but its resemblance to a Stranger Things Demogorgon is unmistakable.

Venom’s one of those  characters where you can cross him with just about anyone else and get a cool visual. It would not surprise us to see Hasbro do a wave of figures with those jagged white eyes, sharp fangs and slithery tentacles. In the meantime, seeing X-Men, Avengers and villains alike getting popped this way is even more awesomely creepy than…oh, let’s say Funko Pops in general.

Also: is that Thanos Pop up top flipping us off with his non-glowy hand? How rude.
