First Look At Winn Schott’s New Costume In Supergirl 5.11

Nearly five years ago, lowly IT nerd Winn Schott helped Kara Danvers become National City’s newest superhero. And this week, he’ll make his triumphant return to the Arrowverse in style. Via Entertainment Weekly, The CW has just released a handful of new images from Supergirl’s next episode, “Back to the Future – Part One,” which features Winn sporting his own superhero costume.

Jeremy Jordan made his last appearance as Winn in Supergirl’s third season finale. In that episode, he memorably agreed to take Brainy’s place in the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 31st century. Judging by these new pics, life in the future has been good for him. Winn’s new outfit is a simple and only includes a domino mask to conceal his identity. Regardless, he’s looking more confident, which will certainly come in handy considering what he’s about to face.

This week’s episode will pit Kara against a mysterious Toyman copycat. Since the original Toyman was Winn’s father, Winslow Schott Sr., the case is obviously going to hit close to home for Jordan’s character. Additionally, Jordan will stick around for two mpre episodes of the show’s current season.

Jordan announced Winn’s return to Supergirl on Instagram last summer. The series’ co-showrunner, Robert Rovner, previously revealed to EW that the producers were originally planning to bring him back in season 4. However, they ultimately decided to hold off and give him a more meaningful arc.

“Back to the Future – Part One” will air on January 26 on The CW. You can check out the new images from the episode in the gallery below.
