Last time he was on the big screen, Godzilla took his place as the ruler of all Titans right at the end of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Many fans noticed Kong’s absence from the final clash despite the many references to him throughout the film. Adam Wingard is directing Godzilla vs. Kong, which is a follow-up to both King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island. In Warner Bros.’s plans, the movie will hit the theaters on May 21, 2021.
