With only a couple of episodes left, Star Trek: Discovery is warp speeding towards the climax of Season 3. While Saru, Burnham, and Culber went into the Verubin Nebula to investigate the highly radioactive nature of the planet, the USS Discovery was left in the hands of Tilly. Unfortunately for the best theoretical engineer at Starfleet Academy, an Emerald Chain ship commanded by Osyraa took over the spaceship. In the meantime, the rest of the Discovery crew were still looking for new clues about the Burn, unsuspecting of what was going on aboard the ship. As soon as Book warned them about the danger, their efforts to get back in time ended up unsuccessfully.
And now, CBS All Access has released a brand new promo for the upcoming twelfth episode of Star Trek: Discovery Season 3. From the images, it looks like Sonequa Martin-Green’s Michael Burnham won’t leave her ship in the hands of Osyraa without putting on a fight.

Jonathan Frakes directed the episode written by Kenneth Lin. CBS All Access has yet to reveal an official synopsis for “There Is a Tide…”. The episode’s current title is a reference to William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. The network had previously announced the title as “The Good of the People.”
The upcoming Star Trek: Discovery Episode 3.12 will hit CBS All Access on Thursday, Dec. 31.
