Black Lightning‘s time is almost over. Before the series began, Jefferson Pierce left his heroic alter ego behind. After the events of Black Lightning season 3, Jefferson is once again looking to move on. However, Black Lightning still has unfinished business in the upcoming final season.
The CW has released a new Black Lightning season 4 poster that features Jefferson in costume. Black Lightning is also accompanied by his daughters, Jennifer Pierce AKA Lightning, and Anissa Pierce AKA Thunder. Regardless of what happens to Jefferson, his daughters will carry on his heroic legacy.

Here’s the official synopsis for the season premiere:
“Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) is still mourning the death of his long-time friend Detective Henderson. Meanwhile, Gambi (James Remar) is presented with an interesting opportunity. Lastly, Lynn (Christine Adams) and Jefferson are still not able to see eye to eye. Nafessa Williams, China Anne McClain, Marvin Jones III and Jordan Calloway also star. The episode was written and directed by Salim Akil.”
Black Lightning season 4 will premiere on Monday, February 8 on The CW.
