Zack Snyder Reveals Next Justice League Trailer Date With Short Clip

On a day that everyone’s thinking about football, Zack Snyder couldn’t resist the opportunity to remind us Cyborg once played football too. A major trim from the theatrical version of Justice League that fans noticed immediately was Victor Stone’s football playing. Featured heavily in early trailers, it never made the Joss Whedon cut. But now Snyder has his own version coming. And he’s used the football clip to announce the next Justice League trailer drop date and time. Valentine’s Day, February 14th, a week from today, as a love letter of sorts to the fans.

You can see the announcement below, along with ten seconds of football footage:

By featuring Ray Fisher so heavily, Snyder may also be signalling his support for the actor, who made his feature debut in Justice League. Fisher has been engaged in a war of words with Warner Bros. for months now, alleging on set abuse by Joss Whedon and Geoff Johns. The actor has since said he will never work on a DC film while Walter Hamada remains in charge. However, he will promote Zack Snyder’s Justice League as the opportunity arises.
