Team Flash Regroups In The Flash Season 7 Episode 1 Photos

In just a few weeks, The Flash will finally make its long-awaited return to The CW. And it sounds like Barry Allen will be facing no shortage of hardships in season 7. For starters, his speed is still deteriorating, and his allies in Team Flash will soon mount a risky attempt to restore it. It also doesn’t help that Barry’s wife, Iris, is still trapped in the Mirrorverse at the mercy of Eva McCulluch a.k.a. the new Mirror Master. The gang is poised to go through a lot this year. Now, The CW (via ComicBook.com) has released a dozen new images from the season’s first episode.

Several characters from the series appear in these latest photos, including Brandon McKnight as Chester P. Runk. Last year, The Flash’s producers upped McKnight to a series regular. This means he will have a play a bigger role in the upcoming episodes. Additionally, Tom Cavanagh appears as Nash Wells, the man with a plan to save Barry’s speed. We also see new shots of Allegra Garcia (Kayla Compton), Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet), and Rosa Dillon (Ashley Rickards). But strangest of all, one picture depicts Barry and Iris back together. However, it’s not clear if this is a flashback, a hallucination, or their actual reunion.

Here’s the official description from The CW:

When an experiment to save Barry’s (Grant Gustin) speed backfires, Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh) searches for a way to save The Flash and comes up with a dangerous plan. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) makes a startling realization inside the Mirrorverse and Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) faces off with Rosa Dillon (guest star Ashley Rickards).

The Flash season 7 will kick off on Tuesday, March 2 on The CW.
