In 2021, Marvel Studios has had the stranglehold on Disney+ original series. But the Star Wars franchise is making its return on a very familiar date. Disney+ has announced that the Star Wars: The Bad Batch animated series will premiere on May the 4th.

The final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars introduced the Bad Batch AKA Clone Force 99. Regardless of their origins as clones, these soldiers had specialized skills in the war. However, they will have to find a new purpose in life in the aftermath of the Empire’s rise.

With The Bad Batch taking over in May, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki series has been bumped back a month. However, it won’t be a long wait. Loki will premiere on Friday, June 11.

The Loki series will take place after Avengers: Endgame, and place Loki at the heart of an unusual crime story involving the Time Variance Authority.
