In the theatrical Justice League cut, Kiersey Clemons had only a minor role as Iris West. However, Clemons will be back in a more substantial way in The Flash movie.
Via The Hollywood Reporter, Clemons has lined up her deal to star opposite Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen in The Flash. In the comics and in The Flash TV series on The CW, Iris is a reporter and Barry’s love interest.
Clemons’ credits include Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, Flatliners, Sweetheart, Angie Tribeca, Transparent, and Disney’+’s Lady and the Tramp remake. She may also have a much larger role as Iris in Zack Snyder’s Justice League later this month.

Joining Clemons and Miller will be two former Batmen: Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck, both of whom will be back in the cowl. Additionally, Sasha Calle was recently cast as Supergirl in the film as well. However, Ray Fisher’s Cyborg has been written out of the film, which is likely in response to Fisher’s ongoing dispute with Warner Bros. Pictures over Joss Whedon and a few executives.
Christina Hodson wrote the script for The Flash, while It director Andy Muschietti will helm the film.
The Flash will hit theaters on November 4, 2022. Production will begin later this year.
