Last month, Lucasfilm announced the cast for the upcoming Star Wars series featuring Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi. Now, Deadline is reporting that PEN15 star and co-creator Maya Erskine has joined the cast. According to the story, Erskine will have a supporting role in at least three episodes. However, details about her character have not been announced.
In addition to PEN15, Erskine has appeared in Casual and Insecure. She also lent her voice to Warner Bros. animated Scoob! movie last year.
Hayden Christensen will reprise his role Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Joel Edgerton is also reprising his role as Owen Lars.

Additionally, Indira Varma will have a leading role in the series alongside Bonnie Piesse, Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
The story will pick up a decade after the events of Revenge of the Sith. Lucasfilm has also hinted that Obi-Wan and Darth Vader will get their rematch in the series.
Director Deborah Chow will helm the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which will begin filming soon. Disney+ hasn’t set a premiere date for the series yet.
