At the rate things are going, Spider-Man: No Way Home will probably still be in theaters when his next franchise, Uncharted, arrives next month. However, it’s still uncertain whether Holland’s Spidey fame will drive moviegoers to this video game adaptation. Regardless, the Uncharted games have plenty of fans of their own, even if Holland wasn’t necessarily everyone’s choice to play Nathan Drake. But we’ll soon see how Holland fares in the role. In a new trailer for Uncharted, Nate is still unsure if he can trust his new partner, Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). The film serves as an origin story for this duo, even though the details of their first meeting have been rewritten for the big screen. Additionally, the trailer plays up Nate’s search for his missing brother, Sam. But to locate Sam and “the greatest treasure never found,” Nate will have to get past Antonio Banderas’ Moncada.
Within the video, Moncada explains why he believes the treasure belongs with his family. And he’s more than willing to kill Nate and Sully to get it.

“Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother…but only if they can learn to work together.”
Uncharted will hit theaters on Friday, February 18.
