Image Comics has announced a new compendium edition collecting the entirety of Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky‘s Sex Criminals.
Per Image, Sex Criminals: The Complete Edition arrives in bookstores on Tuesday, March 26 — and in comic shops on Wednesday, March 27. The massive paperback volume collects all 30 main issues of Fraction and Zdarsky’s series, plus the special issue #69 one-shot. Image boasts that the “beloved, critical darling will now be available in one bingeable, door-stopping format for longtime fans — and new converts — to enjoy.”

What is Sex Criminals about?
Fraction and Zdarsky’s Sex Criminals launched at Image in September 2013. The series originally ran for 30 issues through August 2020. A one-shot special subsequently released the following October. Image previously collected the series in six trade paperback volumes — as well as in three deluxe hardcover volumes.
The Portland-based publisher describes Sex Criminals as “Bonnie & Clyde meets The 40-Year-Old Virgin.” The series “follows the heartfelt, yet laugh-out-loud romance of Suzie and Jon. When Suzie and Jon have sex, time stops. Literally. So they have lots of sex, fall in love, and eventually start robbing banks. Until they find out they’re not alone…”
During its initial run, Sex Criminals enjoyed strong sales and racked up a number of accolades — including Best New Series at both the Eisner Awards and the Harvey Awards. The comic also became a #1 New York Times Bestseller and a #1 Amazon Bestseller in the Literary Graphic Novels category.
