Some of us may have seen images bandied about online, but it’s nice to finally see the real thing. Deadpool & Wolverine movie-based action figures are finally revealed, and preorders start today, July 27th, at 5 p.m. eastern at your favorite retail sites, with delivery expected in late fall.

Three figures have been announced by Hasbro. That’s not a lot, but given the tight secrecy surrounding the film, it might be a while before fans see everyone they want from the film. So for now, enjoy arguably the three most important characters: Wolverine, Deadpool, and…Logan with Headpool. We who have seen the movie can argue about Headpool’s importance, but casual Logan is always a must, and a disembodied head is the sort of accessory one cannot go wrong with.
Also in the pipeline, but not right away, will be a Deadpool movie version of Colossus, as seen in all three Deadpool movies in his metallic, mutant form. Prototypes were on display at SDCC, and we managed to get some close-up shots of powerful Piotr.
Blind Al and Dopinder might be longshots, but you never know who else might end up in the future waves. All we know is Kevin Feige won’t allow cocaine accessories.
The Deadpool & Wolverine figures will come in boxes rather than the usual angular Marvel Legends packaging, but fear not — the square boxes don’t serve as harbingers of a price raise. They’ll be $24.99 like all other similar figures. The Hugh Jackman likenesses on these are particularly outstanding and on another level; it would be nice if we could judge any hypothetical Ryan Reynolds likeness similarly. Even with a pizza-face deco overlay.
Also, what exactly is Headpool’s deal? Beanies with propellers haven’t been cool in…maybe ever.
