Exclusive Preview: Aquaman #46

Aquaman isn’t the man he used to be, literally! At the end of the “Drowned Earth” crossover, Arthur Curry seemingly sacrificed himself to save the world. He survived, but he no longer remembers his life as Arthur or Aquaman. In Kelly Sue Deconnick and Robson Rocha’s new Aquaman run, Arthur is now going by “Andy” while living on an island of forgotten ocean gods. Andy’s only friend is a young woman named Callie, and the elder gods have promised to restore Andy’s memories if he delivers Callie to her mother, Namma.

Unfortunately for everyone on the island, Namma is the vengeful goddess, Mother Salt. In a creation myth, Mother Salt was betrayed by her children and spent centuries biding her time for revenge. In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Aquaman #46, Namma’s vengeance unfolds. Callie has been transformed into the monstrous being known as The Cailleach. And if she unites with her mother, Namma will finally have the power to make her dreams of destruction into reality. Meanwhile, back in Atlantis, Queen Mera is going to have to choose a suitor to rule alongside her…
