Exclusive Preview: Captain Marvel #8

Life hasn’t been easy lately for Carol Danvers. Shortly after her return to New York, Captain Marvel and a few other heroines were trapped in an alternate realm. Once Carol broke free, she had one night to celebrate before being outed in the press as a half Kree warrior. It’s a fairly new revelation in Carol’s life, but it’s already enough to send her on a downward spiral.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Captain Marvel #8, Kelly Thompson and artist Carmen Carnero make things even harder for Carol. She’s struggling to maintain her sobriety in the face of the backlash against her. But she’s also facing some physical symptoms that suggest her powers are failing her.
