Exclusive Preview: Marvel Comics Presents #7

Wolverine has a daughter. This may not be a shock to anyone who has read comics for the last 15 years, since Logan’s son (Daken) and his daughter/clone (X-23) have both had their own titles. But in the pages of Marvel Comics Presents, Charles Soule and artist Paulo Siqueira have introduced a new daughter of Wolverine, and she may have cost him everything he loved.

As depicted by Soule and Siqueira in their serial storyline, Wolverine encountered a demon called the Truth in the last days of World War II. With the help of a sorceress, and her daughter, Sylvie, Logan banished the Truth…but only for a decade at a time. As the years passed, both the sorceress and Sylvie’s lives were claimed, and now, only Wolverine can fight the Truth. However, it turns out that Logan and Sylvie had a daughter of their own, and she appeared during a disastrous battle between the Truth and the X-Men.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Marvel Comics Presents #7, Soule and Siqueira’s story picks up in 2001, years after the Truth murdered several X-Men. Now, Logan is on a desperate hunt to find both his daughter and the Truth. And it’s a search that will take years of his life…
