The D23 Expo has come and gone, bringing a lot of news regarding the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future. Amidst all of that, a short WandaVision teaser trailer made its debut during the Disney fan event in order to set the tone for the upcoming series. The trailer featured a mix of footage of Wanda Maximoff and Vision from the previously released MCU movies, mixed with footage from The Dick Van Dyke Show. There wasn’t any new stuff in the trailer, however, which was more about setting a vibe for the series. Because of this, one very willing Marvel fan was able to recreate the feature from available footage and memory (found via GeekTyrant).

In the trailer, we get a sense of the protagonists wanting a normal life in spite of their superpowers. The short feature draws a comparison between the Marvel superheroes’ lives and the ones of the protagonists from the American television sitcom. As the fan notes in the video, the trailer’s final result is quite exciting, yet a little bit confusing.
The details about the upcoming Marvel Studios series are still under wraps. During this year’s SDCC, though, we learned that the events of the Doctor Strange sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, will result from the events of Wanda Maximoff’s seemingly idyllic life with her robot husband, Vision.
