Bloodwork’s Infection Is Spreading in New The Flash Midseason Finale Promo

The CW has released a new promo from the upcoming second part of The Flash midseason finale. Next week, Barry Allen himself will contract Bloodwork’s perilous infection. The rest of the team will have to work hard to solve this sticky situation

The synopsis of “The Last Temptation of Barry Allen, Part 2” reads as follows. “With The Flash (Grant Gustin) freshly infected by the monstrous Bloodwork (guest star Sendhil Ramamurthy), Iris (Candice Patton) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) battle to help Barry take control of himself before he’s lost forever to Ramsey’s influence. Meanwhile, the rest of Team Flash fight to reclaim control of Central City from Bloodwork’s growing army.

Grant Gustin stars in the series as Barry Allen/The Flash. Candice Patton co-stars as Iris West-Allen, with Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe, Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man, as well as Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West.

Greg Berlanti executive produces the series, along with Sarah Schechter and Eric Wallace. Bonanza Productions Inc. produces The Flash together with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
