Exclusive Preview: Aquaman #55

The Year of the Villain is almost over, but Lex Luthor has given Black Manta everything he needs to get his revenge. Black Manta has attacked Aquaman’s home at Amnesty Bay with a giant mecha, and the king of the seas is already out of the fight. For the first time in years, Black Manta’s ultimate victory is at head. And Jackson Hyde/Aqualad may be the only one who can halt his father’s rampage.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Aquaman #55, Kelly Sue DeConnick and artist Robson Rocha give Black Manta a more equal opponent while Arthur catches his breath. Meanwhile, Mera finally reunites with Aquaman for the first time since she “killed” him. However, it doesn’t look like a little thing like death will keep these two apart.

Here’s the official description from DC.
