The cast of the upcoming DC’s Harley Quinn Season 2 adds a new star. During the DC Universe talk show DC Daily, Harley Quinn producers Patrick Schumacker and Justin Halpern revealed that Alfred Molina has just been cast as Mr. Freeze in the sophomore season of the irreverent show. This is not Molina’s first foray in the comic-book related projects. Molina played Dr. Otto Octavius in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2. On top of that, he also provided the voice of Destiny in Justice League Dark.
Schumacker and Halpern confirmed also the rumors according to which the Family Guy veteran Sanaa Lathan will play Catwoman.

In DC’s Harley Quinn, The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco voices the titular heroine. The cast also includes Lake Bell (Childrens Hospital) as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) as Joker, Ron Funches (Powerless) as King Shark, JB Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm) as Frank the Plant, Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) as Sy Borgman, Wanda Sykes (Black-ish) as Queen of Fables, Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) as Lex Luthor, Natalie Morales (Bojack Horseman), Jim Rash (Mike Tyson Mysteries) as Riddler, Diedrich Bader (Veep) as Batman. Tony Hale (Arrested Development, Veep) plays Dr. Psycho, with Chris Meloni (Happy!) as Commissioner Gordon, Rahul Kohli (iZombie) as Scarecrow, Sanaa Lathan (The Twilight Zone) as Catwoman, as well as Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman and Jacob Tremblay as Robin.
The series follows Harley Quinn‘s adventures after her break with the Clown Prince of Crime. Ehsugadee Productions also produces the series in association with Warner Bros. Animation and Cuoco’s Yes, Norman Productions.
