Exclusive Preview: Fantastic Four #27

Franklin Richards, the son of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, was once the most powerful mutant in existence. With his god-like powers, Franklin helped the Fantastic Four restore the multiverse. He also created new worlds and species from his imagination. However, the complete depletion of Franklin’s powers has left him demoralized. According to Charles Xavier, Franklin was never even a mutant at all. He just subconsciously wished that he was a mutant, and his body created a false X gene.

Regardless, Franklin’s problems, and those of his family, have just gotten worse. Thousands of alien refugees, many of them created by Franklin himself, have descended upon New York City. The Griever of Worlds is hunting them down, and Franklin couldn’t even beat her when he still had his powers.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Fantastic Four #27, Dan Slott and artist R.B. Silva show the fallout of the alien exodus on Earth. Even the Fantastic Four can’t easily find room for all of these sentient beings. To make matters even more difficult, many of the aliens still revere Franklin as a god, despite his protests.
