Exclusive Preview: Thor #13

In the early days of the Marvel Universe, Thor had a secret identity: Dr. Donald Blake. Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, was used to physically swap out Blake for the Son of Odin. However, Blake was just a creation made by Odin to teach his son humility. Over time, the two were separated and Blake took on a life of his own. For the past few years, Blake has been trapped in an artificial world…and he lost his damn mind. Now, Blake is on a rampage in the real world while Thor is trapped in Blake’s broken realm.

Blake has already banished every Asgardian to Dimension Blood before taking on Throg, the Frog of Thunder. Regardless of Throg’s valor, Blake defeated him, Lockjaw, and even Doctor Strange. To make matters worse, Blake also knows that the remaining Asgardian power comes from the World Tree. And he’s chopping it down as we speak.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Thor #13, Donny Cates and artist Nic Klein catch up with Lady Sif and Beta Ray Bill in Dimension Blood. But in these bleak times, there is also hope and faith. More importantly, the Sorcerer Supreme has finally found them. However, Stephen Strange may have to make a dark alliance of his own in order to defeat Blake and free Thor.
