Hasan Minhaj and John Rhys-Davies Join DC’s Batman Unburied Podcast

The upcoming Batman Unburied podcast adds a few names to its loaded cast. Today, DC announced that The Daily Show and Homecoming King graduate Hasan Minhaj would lend his voice to The Riddler in the scripted podcast. Minhaj’s credits also include dubbing Rabi Ray Rana in the Far Cry 4 game. Additionally, the booming voice of John Rhys-Davies will guide the listeners through the latest adventure of The Dark Knight. The Lord of The Rings and Indiana Jones alum is voicing Dr. Hunter, described as “the genius and patient psychiatrist helping Bruce with his trauma.”

David S. Goyer’s latest project also cast Lance Reddick and Toks Olagundoye as Thomas and Martha Wayne. Additionally, Ashly Burch is Vicki Vale, Bruce Wayne’s former love interest. They all join Winston Duke and Jason Isaacs, who will play the titular hero and Alfred, respectively.

Per the official description: “Batman Unburied is a psychological thriller that takes us on a new journey deep into the mind of Bruce Wayne introducing a slew of dark twists and turns with a number of classic Batman Super-Villains. When audiences meet Bruce Wayne, he is a forensic pathologist, working in the bowels of Gotham Hospital and tasked with examining the victims of The Harvester, a gruesome serial killer preying on Gotham’s citizens. Not only will the Super-Hero be forced to face his own mental demons, but he will also have to overcome them in order to save the citizens of Gotham as his alter-ego Batman.”

Spotify and DC have yet to announce an official release date for Batman Unburied.
