Exclusive Preview: X-Force #27

Logan has survived the X Lives and X Deaths of Wolverine! And it did look pretty iffy for a while. The mutant nation of Krakoa may be powerful in the present, but its enemies attempted to prevent its very existence by changing the past. Wolverine had to travel up and down his timeline to defeat Omega Red and protect the present and the future. However, his trials aren’t over yet. Before getting a chance to recover, Wolverine and his X-Force team are about to encounter a new threat: Cerebrax. X-Force #27.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for X-Force #27, Benjamin Percy and artist Robert Gill follow Logan into the Cradle. This is one of the secret locations on Krakoa that holds the portable Cerebro units which are key to mutant resurrections. Regardless, we suspect that Mikhail Rasputin may be behind the emergence of Cerebrax in these pages. Mikhail’s attempt to use Omega Red was a failure, but Cerebrax will soon target Krakoa’s resident genius, Forge, and use him as its host. From there, it can do almost anything it wants.
