James Marsden will join fellow X-Men series star Rebecca Romijn-Stamos in “Alibi,” an independent film about a man (Steve Coogan) who runs an alibi service for men and women who cheat on their spouses.
One specific client (Marsden) gets into a situation over his head, and Coogan’s character must help him fix it. In the process, he relies on and falls for the woman (Romijn-Stamos).
The Hollywood Reporter says shooting starts in July in Los Angeles, with Kurt Mattila and Matt Checkowski making their directorial debuts.
