Linda Hamilton stars in Skydance Productions and Paramount Pictures' "TERMINATOR: DARK FATE."

First Terminator: Dark Fate Action Figures Revealed

With every new Terminator movie, toy company hopes spring eternal. The classic Terminator license has always been extremely lucrative, and no matter what comes next, there will always be interest. But after Terminator Salvation and Terminator Genisys, we can’t necessarily blame a toymaker for being cautious. So while a Mackenzie Davis or Gabriel Luna figure might be a ways off, NECA‘s betting in the tried and true. Your first Terminator Dark Fate action figures are Sarah Connor and the Terminator, together again.

As revealed on NECA’s Facebook page, both figures come with interchangeable sunglasses-wearing heads, and an arsenal to take on Skynet, or whatever comes next. And while there was some scuttlebutt that Arnold Schwarzenegger would be playing the human template for Terminators rather than one himself, his figure is described as a T-800. So take that for what you will. It could just be a placeholder name.

No matter how the movie turns out, no Terminator fan can ever hate on these two. Or regret picking them up to pose alongside other killer robots.

NECA’s Terminator license usually focuses on the first two movies. They’ve skipped Rise of the Machines and Salvation due to their perceived unpopularity with fans. Prior to the release of Genisys, the company made two figures — T-800 and T-1000 — but no more once the film disappointed. Director Tim Miller looks set to deliver a better product, and if he succeeds, maybe we’ll get more this time. There are only so many T2 figure possibilities.

Look for Arnie and Linda to bring the battle to toy shelves in October. Will you be back for them? Tell us what you think in comment section below.
