Matt Reeves’ The Batman isn’t the only Dark Knight-related affair hitting the U.K. this year. Via Heroic Hollywood, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC are teaming up with Wonderland Restaurants to open a new eatery inspired by Batman’s Gotham City stomping grounds. The spot will be called Park Row and opens in London’s Soho neighborhood this summer.
The restaurant gets its moniker from the seedy part of Gotham where Bruce Wayne’s parents were gunned down. But hopefully, diners won’t have to endure a similarly torturous ordeal. Instead, they’ll visit five different restaurants and three different bars, all housed in a single 18,000-square-foot basement venue. Each area alludes to a specific element of Batman mythology. The resulting experience will also make guests feel like they’ve just stepped into a comic book panel or a scene from one of the Caped Crusader’s many films.
One option to choose from is Pennyworth’s, an area named for Bruce Wayne’s longtime butler that will serve British sharing dishes. There’s also Old Gotham City, a Harley Quinn-inspired “villainous speakeasy” that specializes in cocktails and sushi. However, the main (and largest) attraction will be The Iceberg Lounge, a real-life translation of the Penguin’s infamous nightclub. This space will offer an international food menu as well as live entertainment. As a nod to its proprietor, an ice sculpture of a penguin also towers above the middle of the bar.

“We are delighted to partner with Warner Bros. to create their first immersive DC-inspired gastronomic restaurant experience found anywhere in the world,” Wonderland Restaurants’ Chief Creative Officer, James Bulmer, said in a statement. “This is a project many years in the making, with every detail carefully thought out to deliver a unique experience for our guests.”
“Trends in our sector are moving towards fun, immersive and experiential dining,” added Bulmer. “And our aim is to demonstrate this on a grand scale with exceptional food and drink to match. I am still a child at heart, inspired by the greatest stories and storytellers. For me, great food experiences are about unlocking guests’ emotions and creating edible memories.”
