Hot Toys Comic-Con@Home Shows off Josh Brolin Cable, Clone Wars and More

Hot Toys continues to ensure that collectors of high-end figures won’t hold on to their money very long this year. A spate of reveals made this week bring the love for Marvel, DC, and Star Wars. As usual, their attention to detail continues to amaze. This time, though, what’s also impressive is what Disney is now willing to allow them to make. First up in the Hot Toys Comic-Con reveals is Josh Brolin’s Cable from Deadpool 2. Now available across multiple properties since the Fox acquisition, the surly time traveller comes ready to fight. He also boasts an entirely new body sculpt full of cyber-tech detailing to make papa Rob Liefeld proud.

A new Clone Wars-styled Anakin Skywalker can come packed with or without a STAP vehicle. Choosing the latter, however, offers many dynamic posing options as well as light-up engines.

Also arriving in basic and deluxe versions: a lab test variant of Tony Stark, with light-up armor pieces. And, if one chooses, extra robotic equipment and stands. The Iron Man suit pieces light up.

For anyone who prefers their Tony dead, however, this zombified and pixillated Iron Man from Spider-Man: Far From Home is a new level in sculpted details. It’s bold of Disney and Sony to allow their hero to be marketed as a gruesome zombie illusion, so take advantage.
