Mumm-Ra, arch-foe of the ThunderCats, just underwent a transformation to glow-in-the-dark toy form. Exclusive to BigBadToyStore, this shining example of villainy also offers fans an extra chance to grab the mummified bad guy. Originally a subscription incentive figure during Mattel’s brief run on the line, he revived as part of Super7’s Ultimates series 1. Glow-in-the-dark Mumm-Ra makes the third official version.
With the exception of his hooded robe, which once again comes in sculpted plastic and poseable fabric form, Mumm-Ra’s accessories now all glow as well. His staff, the sword of Plun-Darr, the Book of Omens, the Thundranium Urn, and the Rosenkrantz Medallion all light up the room along with their wielder. And he includes two heads, one with mouth wide open and the other, a slightly more tense mouth. The outer box sleeve even features a glowing logo, for collectors who like to keep their packages closed.
