Avengers Campus and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Get New Previews

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure won’t be open any time soon, thanks to COVID-19. Regardless, construction continues unabated at Disney’s theme parks all over the world. Via the Disney Parks Blog, Disney released new previews for several of its upcoming attractions. Among them are the new Avengers Campus, which is coming to both Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Paris.

Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus is being built near Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout!, and it will also feature Web Slingers: A Spider-Man adventure. For the Spider-Man ride, “guests will be able to board vehicles and help Spider-Man take control of an army of Spider-Bots that have taken over Avengers Campus.”

Additionally, Disneyland Paris is not only getting Web Slingers, it’s also getting Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. It will be a celebration of “80 years of Marvel storytelling in a typical New York setting. The resort will feature contemporary Art Deco style and include one of the largest publicly viewable collections of Marvel artwork in the world.” You can see both in the video below.

Because of Marvel’s pre-existing deal with Universal Studios Florida, Avengers Campus won’t be coming to Disney World. However, Disney World’s revamped EPCOT is getting a Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride.  The following behind-the-scenes video also shows Cosmic Rewind’s “groundbreaking ride system with vehicles that rotate 360 degrees and can even do a reverse launch.”
