Disneyland Shares Tom Holland Footage From Avengers Campus’ Spider-Man Ride

New Tom Holland Footage From Avengers Campus’ Spider-Man Ride

Ideally, Disney California Adventure Park’s Avengers Campus would have opened in 2020. However, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has kept the parks shut for over ten months. Regardless, Disney is still hoping to open Avengers Campus later this year. Now, via the Disney Parks Blog, Disneyland Resorts has released new footage of Tom Holland reprising his role as Peter Parker for Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure.

As explained by Holland himself, WEB stands for Worldwide Engineering Brigade. In this alternate version of the MCU, Peter hosts a WEB presentation before the Spider-Bots go wild. That’s also why his alter ego, Spider-Man, will be recruiting guests to help him get the Spider-Bots under control. Fans on the ride will get virtual web shooters of their own in this 3D experience.

Holland also expressed his excitement to work with the Disney Imagineers and an eagerness to share the ride with fans.

Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure won’t be the only attraction on Avengers Campus. The Pym Test Kitchen, Avengers Headquarters, and the Collector’s Fortress/Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! are also part of the mini-park. Further details and opening dates will presumably follow later this year.
