New Marvel Legends: Spider-Man No Way Home, Excalibur, Surfer, More

There’s good news and bad news for Spider-Man toy fans today. The good: Hasbro‘s full first wave of Spider-Man: No Way Home Marvel Legends goes on sale tomorrow at all your favorite online retailers. The bad, or at least disappointing: no new actual movie figures were revealed in this morning’s Hasbro livestream. We already know about Doctor Strange, J. Jonah Jameson, and the new Spidey-suits. The rest of the wave will feature comics characters, including Shriek, Morlin, and a giant Armadillo build-a-figure. And Shriek’s new pinless articulation body will become a new base body for comic-inspired female figures. Rounding out the wave is a video game Miles Morales.

We will get at least one more movie figure…and it’s another Spider-Man. A Walmart exclusive with Tom Holland likeness. And in another Spidey offering, the Iron Spider helmet joins that replica line, with eyes that light up red or blue.

Other reveals today included army-builder packs featuring a single Skrull, and two SHIELD agents, all packed with accessories to vary them up. Plus an Excalibur three-pack featuring Captain Britain, Meggan, and Shadowcat, and a package back replicating the old Toy Biz trading cards. Shortly before the livestream began, HasLab’s Galactus hit its 16,000-backer stretch goal to unlock the bonus Nova figure. If it hits 17,000, a new Silver Surfer figure joins them, with all-new parts and a flight stand that can fit in Galactus’ hand.

Finally, speaking of Toy Biz, a final hint showcased a new figure stand with that company’s old Marvel Legends logo, and what looks like a groove to hold a backdrop or trading card. More should become clear at PulseCon in October.
