For children of a certain age, Christmas was absolutely made if the big box under the tree turned out to be a toy AT-AT. Now adults, those same former kids can relive that experience for a whole lot more money. Just in time for this year’s holiday season, LEGO‘s Ultimate Collector Series Star Wars AT-AT will shamble into stores and online. And for $799.99 plus tax, it makes for a large investment.
Standing over two feet tall when complete, the set includes 6785 pieces in all. And while the detail level looks designed for collectors, it’s in scale with LEGO minifigs and includes multiple play features. Panels pop open to allow Snowtroopers to fire the E-Web cannons, head guns rotate, and speeder bikes inside the body allow for launching recon missions. Luke Skywalker can also winch upwards to attack. Seat up to 40 troops inside for full-on assault sorties.

Parents may or may not let their kids play with such a pricey piece. But they’ll definitely be posing it for themselves.
Perhaps needless to say, Walmart won’t just be leaving these out on shelves. Expect them in LEGO stores and online starting Nov 26. Take a look through the gallery below for more images.
