Disney+ Hawkeye Marvel Legends Prototype Renders Revealed

Unlike with some previous Disney+ Marvel TV shows, Hasbro has wasted no time letting us know there’ll be toys coming for Hawkeye. Clint Barton and Kate Bishop seem like no-brainers for toys. And indeed, via social media, Hasbro just showed some early digital mock-ups of their upcoming action figures. Behold the first two TV-based Hawkeye Marvel Legends.

Before the inevitable cries of “Those don’t look anything like them!”, bear in mind that these are early models. And at this stage, they’re prior to the approved likenesses of Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld getting fully scanned and sculpted. One thing eagle-eyed collectors may notice is that Kate features pinless double-hinge elbows. This has not been typical of female Marvel Legends, who normally have ball elbow joints to accommodate the slimmer arms. But it may allow for superior archery poses, which look essential for this character.

Crucially missing is Lucky the Pizza Dog. But then again we still don’t have an Alligator Loki in Marvel Legends either…yet. And it’s probably safe to assume we’ll get Echo at some point, and maybe Yelena Belova if she finally shows up as expected. As for Echo’s mysterious, as-yet offscreen uncle, who knows? If he’s who the speculation suggests, he’d make a great build-a-figure.

Release date for these figures remains unannounced so far. But with no other Disney+ MCU shows completed yet except Moon Knight, they seem unlikely to show up in a full TV-based wave.

Unfinished likenesses aside, what do you think so far? Let us know in comments.
