Bear McCreary’s Battlestar Galactica Live Album is Coming To Vinyl

The Battlestar Galactica revival is fondly remembered for many reasons, including Bear McCreary’s epic score for the series. McCreary’s music proved to be so iconic that he was able to host live performances of it all over the world. Now, a few highlights from those performances are coming to a turntable near you. Mondo has announced plans to release So Say We All: Battlestar Galactica Live on vinyl for the first time.

The double LP includes 13 tracks from McCreary’s BSG repertoire performed at different venues throughout North America and Europe. Mondo’s exclusive edition of the album is pressed on translucent red vinyl and is limited to 500 copies. You can check out McCreary’s announcement below.

So Say We All was previously released on streaming services back in June. Among several other highlights, the album features live renditions of memorable songs like “Prelude to War” as well as McCreary’s unique spin on “All Along the Watchtower.” In the long run, McCreary’s contributions to the Battlestar Galactica mythos landed him even more high profile work on other fan-favorite shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Walking Dead. He also composed the music for Godzilla: King of the Monsters and 2018’s God of War video game.
