Here’s the First Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Action Figure

In a truly shocking reveal, it seem Doctor Strange may trade in his stylish goatee for a soul patch in his next movie. Such, at least, is how the first Marvel Legends Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness action figure depicts him. With a trailer likely to show up in theaters any day now, we should expect the marketing campaign to kick into gear shortly. Just as soon as everyone has a chance to find out where Spider-Man: No Way Home leaves him.

This first action figure is dubbed Defender Strange. While more overly complicated in design than the 2011 Defenders costume from the comics, his outfit clearly derives from that look.

The figure appears to be a Target exclusive. Featuring a spell circle effect and coming in oversized packaging, it’s priced like a deluxe figure at $31.49. As of this writing, Target has a preorder page up, with no delivery date specified. But  it’s possible this might be a premature reveal.

The only other accessories included are alternate fist hands. Though most collectors will likely pose him casting a spell.

Don’t expect to see many more reveals until the trailer properly drops. In the meantime, what do you think of Stephen Strange’s new facial hair? Let us know in comments.
