McFarlane Toys Black Adam JSA and Villain Now up for Presales

McFarlane Toys showcased their Black Adam figures of the title character a little while back. Now, however, they’ve revealed all, as well as putting them up for presale. The roster includes not just the Black Adam JSA roster, but also a previously unmentioned villain. How do we know he’s a villain? Well, the fact that he looks like Satan and has a pentagram carved into his chest strongly suggests it. Once upon a time, Walmart would have refused to carry such an item.

Sabbac is the villain’s name, and he comes with this bit of official origin story: “Possessed by a demon, a military Intergang leader transforms into Sabbac, the only being whose powers are equal to those of Black Adam. Determined to take over Kahndaq and maybe the whole world, Sabbac must be stopped, and the fiercely autonomous Black Adam may need the help of some unlikely allies to outmatch him.”

The demon is one of two megafigs in the line, the other being a large-sized Atom Smasher. A regular sized version of the latter will also hit shelves, alongside Hawkman, Dr. Fate, and Cyclone. Hawkman includes his wings and mace; Cyclone has a cyclone effect stand, and Dr. Fate features a flight stand. Regular-sized Atom Smasher just has alternate hands.

Get a good look at the figure in our gallery below. Most retailers now have preorders live, including our affiliate partners at Entertainment Earth. Expect to pay the usual $19.99 for McFarlane DC figures, and $39.99 for the megafigs. (Superhero Hype may earn fees for purchases made via Entertainment Earth links.)
