To celebrate the premiere of Marvel Studios‘ Loki Season 2 on Disney+, the God of Mischief and Time Variance Authority agent O.B. are doing some fieldwork at Avengers Campus.
Per Marvel, those visiting Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park may encounter a snappily-dressed Loki alongside O.B. for a limited time. On Instagram, the official Disneyland and Disney Parks accounts shared a video of O.B. reading from his TVA handbook before deferring to Loki’s experience as the two head off on an excursion.
Notably, California Adventure has a permanent roster of Marvel characters that can be found at Avengers Campus year round. However, the park also often enlists cast members to portray special characters to coincide with the release of new Marvel Cinematic Universe films and Disney+ series. In addition to Loki and O.B., this year alone has already seen special appearances by the likes of Kang the Conqueror and Cassie Lang from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, as well as Nick Fury from Secret Invasion.
Loki Season 2 is streaming on Disney+ now
Loki Season 2 premiered on Disney+ on Thursday, October 5. Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as the time-displaced God of Mischief for yet another temporal adventure with the TVA. One major newcomer this season is Goonies alum and recently-minted Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan. Quan portrays Ouroboros — aka O.B. — a quirky TVA agent who works in the organization’s Repairs and Advancement Department.
An official synopsis for Loki Season 2 reads as follows: “‘Loki’ Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.”
The first episode of Loki Season 2 is currently streaming on Disney+. The new season has a total of six episodes, which will release weekly through Thursday, November 9.
