Skybound Entertainment has released a 14-page preview for the upcoming art book The Art of Invincible Season 1.
The Art of Invincible Season 1 is due to hit shelves in March 2024. Published by Image Comics, the 200-page hardcover features “exclusive character, background, and vehicle designs, key art, and more” from the debut season of Prime Video‘s animated adaptation of Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley’s Invincible. The art book is written by Marc Sumerak and features a foreword by Kirkman himself.

Invincible Season 2 is currently on hiatus
Image and Skybound‘s Invincible originally ran for 144 issues from 2003 to 2018. Prime Video’s animated adaptation of the superhero comic debuted its first season in March 2021. A standalone special hit Amazon‘s streaming service this past July, with Season 2 arriving this month. Invincible Season 2 is currently on mid-season break, and will return for its second half in early 2024. A third season is also in the works.
The official synopsis for Invincible Season 2 reads as follows: “After an earth-shattering betrayal, Mark fights to rebuild his life. In the face of apocalyptic threats, he discovers new allies and wrestles with his greatest fear — that he might become his father.”
The Art of Invincible Season 1 goes on sale March 26, 2024 from Image Comics.
