Watch the Full J. Jonah Jameson Video From Spider-Man: Far From Home

The mid-credits scene from Spider-Man: Far From Home had perhaps the best MCU surprise of the year. J.K. Simmons not only reprised his role as J. Jonah Jameson from the original Spider-Man trilogy, he dropped Far From Home‘s biggest bombshell. In the closing seconds, he outed Peter Parker as Spider-Man in front of the whole world.

Via TheDailyBugle.net, Sony and Marvel have dropped the complete video of Simmons’ triumphant return. The first 45 seconds or so match what was seen in the film. However, the remaining 26 seconds have new footage as Jameson takes the opportunity to blast Peter. He even uses the onscreen graphics to dub him “Spider-Boy.” It’s very on-brand for Jameson, regardless of the universe.

Additionally, the site also had write up of the story, purportedly written by Jameson himself.

“That’s right, Buglers! Spider-Man isn’t even a ‘man’ at all – he’s a little boy! Is this the kind of person our society should be venerating as a superhero? A snot-nosed teenager who thinks he can endanger the public just to show off for his latest crush!? We reached out to some of the teachers at Midtown High School for more background on their student, Peter Parker, but they declined to comment. The Daily Bugle calls on the city of New York – nay, the entire Nation at large – to band together in defiance of this false hero. It’s time we told this entitled next generation to sit down and let the adults in the room save the world!”

Presumably Simmons will also return for the upcoming sequel to further Jameson’s vendetta against Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is currently out on Blu-ray and on digital. The sequel will hit theaters on July 16, 2021.
