Disney Announces The Rise of Skywalker Blu-ray Details and Date, More

The moment Star Wars completists have been waiting for has finally come. Disney has just announced the release on digital, 4K and Blu-ray for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The conclusion of the Skywalker saga in-home release will arrive next month, featuring more than two hours of bonus material.

But the news doesn’t end here. It’s not just a physical release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. In addition, fans will get the chance to own eight previous Star Wars features in 4K. The films in question include the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The Last Jedi and Solo are the only Star Wars films currently available to buy in the format, though on Disney+ they can all be viewed that way.
