New King’s Man Trailer and Poster Illuminate Intelligence Agency’s Origins

20th Century Studios has released the third trailer for the upcoming The King’s Man movie. The new teaser features a lot more of the action scenes from Matthew Vaughn’s film. It also casts a closer look at some of the villains that will lock horns with Ralph Fiennes’ Duke of Oxford, like Rhys Ifans’ Grigori Rasputin. The movie also got a new release date, after being pushed back from his originally scheduled February release due to reshoots. The new movie in the Kingsman franchise, based on the comics by Mark Millar, will soar into theaters on September 18. That’s almost five years after The Secret Service hit theaters back in 2015.

The story will focus on the early days of the organization, and it will take place during World War I. The franchise’s origin story won’t involve any of the previous Kingsman stars, who are likely to return for Kingsman 3. That still-untitled project will likely continue to explore the student/teacher relationship between Taron Egerton’s Eggsy and Colin Firth’s Harry.
