Warner Bros. Debuts Four New Images From Superman: Man of Tomorrow

Superman: Man of Tomorrow promises an exciting story set during Clark Kent’s early days as a superhero. But beyond this, it also boasts unique character designs that set the movie apart from other entries in the DC animated film canon. Moreover, some of these designs are on full display in a new series of images released by Warner Bros. Animation. Via DC’s official website, the studio has premiered a handful of new Man of Tomorrow stills that spotlight a young Superman and a few other supporting characters. You can check them out in the gallery below.

One new image prominently features the film’s main villain, Lobo, voiced by The Walking Dead’s Ryan Hurst. The leather-clad Czarnian may seem like too tough of an enemy for Clark to take on as a novice. Fortunately, he’ll be getting some extra help from Martian Manhunter along the way. Other shots show Superman getting some much-needed face time with Lois Lane, who’s just beginning her career as The Daily Planet’s star reporter. There’s also a new glimpse at Lex Luthor presiding over some type of rocket launch.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow hits digital on August 23. The film will also arrive on DVD and Blu-ray on September 8.
