Marvel’s The Eternals is Now Simply Known As Marvel’s Eternals

Ever since it was announced, Marvel’s upcoming film has been alternately called Eternals and The Eternals. It’s based on Jack Kirby’s The Eternals, a comic book series in the ’70s that introduced a race of immortals to the Marvel Universe. Now, Disney has updated its theatrical slate, and the “The” has been dropped from Eternals.

Marvel’s Eternals remains set for a release on February 12, 2021, after being pushed back from it’s November 2020 date. However, Eternals will now share February 2021 with The King’s Man, the prequel to The Kingsmen. The new date for The King’s Man is February 26, 2021, just two weeks after Eternals. There could still be additional delays because of COVID-19. But for now, those are the dates.
