Black Panther Tie-in Book The Wakanda Files Unleashes Shuri’s Knowledge

This fall, fans will get the chance to walk through Wakanda’s royal archive thanks to The Wakanda Files. The upcoming in-world book written by Troy Benjamin will feature a collection of papers, articles, as well as blueprints and notes as if the brilliant Shuri herself wrote them. Wakanda’s Chief Science Officer will share all her knowledge, amassed throughout history by the War Dogs. These notorious secret police are made up of elite spies, as well as assassins and relentless warriors recruited from all across the country. Moreover, their ability to gather intel is second to none.

In addition, T’Challa’s sister will offer insight into the enhancements, power, and technology behind some of the Marvel superheroes. Furthermore, the book will even include hidden Wakandan writing, viewable only under the included Kimoyo bead-shaped UV light.

The official synopsis of The Wakanda Files reads:

“Within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Wakanda has been on the forefront of what is technologically possible. Their ability to stay ahead of the rest of the world is second only to their ability to keep themselves hidden. As the architect behind many of Wakanda’s great advancements, Shuri is constantly seeking ways to improve what has come before. To aid in her search, she researches the past for context, reference, and inspiration by compiling The Wakanda Files.

Organized into areas of study, including human enhancement, transportation, weapons, artificial intelligence, and more, The Wakanda Files trace the world’s technological achievements from the era of Howard Stark and early Hydra studies to modern discoveries in quantum tunneling and nanotechnology.”

The Wakanda Files will hit stores on October 20. In the meantime, you can check out some preview pages in the gallery below.
