Earlier this year, Lovecraft Country star Jonathan Majors was cast as the villain of Ant-Man 3. At the time, rumors had Majors playing Kang the Conqueror, the warlord from the future who frequently fought the Avengers. Now, it’s confirmed that Majors is portraying Kang, via Kevin Feige himself.
During the epic Disney Investor Day presentation, Feige announced that Ant-Man 3 has an official title. It will be called Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Both Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will be back as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Hope van Dyne/Wasp. Additionally, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer will reprise their roles as Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne.

However, Emma Fuhrmann will not be back as the teenage Cassie Lang in the sequel. Although Fuhrmann played Cassie in Avengers: Endgame, Kathryn Newton is taking over the role. Newton’s previous credits include Supernatural, Mad Men, Little Women, and Blockers. She also had parts in Lady Bird, Detective Pikachu, and Paranormal Activity 4.
Peyton Reed will direct Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Production will begin in spring 2021, with a 2022 release planned.
