For star Simu Liu’s birthday, Marvel Studios has debuted the first teaser for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been delayed a few times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but it should now debut right at the end of summer. The short video introduces the titular hero, who is being scolded by his father for living a meaningless life. Circumstances will force Shang-Chi to find the motivation to take up the legacy and become the man he was born to be. The teaser bodes well for kung fu movie fans as it appears that Shang-Chi will put a Marvel spin on the genre.
