Honor Motivates Sir Gawain’s Quest in The Green Knight Trailer

A24 has debuted a brand new trailer for the latest adaptation of one of the Arthurian legends, The Green Knight. The movie written and directed by David Lowery should have debuted last year. However, the COVID-19 outbreak forced the producers to change the plans. And now the upcoming fantasy movie has a new release date, on top of the freshly released trailer. The video features the movie’s peculiar imagery and offers an innovative take on Sir Gawain’s legend. This time, the visuals push the fantasy element as much as possible, offering a closer look at the mysterious Green Knight and at some bizarre, gargantuan kids. As in every good fable, the protagonist will also have a talking animal as a companion, in this case a fox.
