Director Andy Muschietti has taken to his socials to share a photo from the upcoming The Flash movie. The image features the Bat-logo, as seen in Batman Returns, standing out on a yellow background. There are also a few drops of blood on the logo, hinting that the Dark Knight might have seen some rough times. At the moment, the only certainty is that Michael Keaton will return as Bruce Wayne in the upcoming movie. Even so, it’s safe to assume that he could also don the cape and cowl for the first time since 1992. Production is ongoing on the film, which will see Ezra Miller taking the spotlight as Barry Allen, the fastest man alive.

The upcoming The Flash standalone movie is rumored to see the return of Ben Affleck as an alternative version of the Dark Knight. The rest of the cast sees Maribel Verdú as Barry’s mother Nora Allen, and Ron Livingston as his father, Henry. Kiersey Clemons will also reprise her role as Iris West from Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The movie will also see Sasha Calle donning the costume of Supergirl for the first time
According to the producers’ current plan, The Flash will rush into theaters on November 4, 2022.
